MOTS-c cost: prescription vs research grade

Published prices by category, checked November 2, 2026. REMEVi does not currently price MOTS-c.

Published prices for compounded MOTS-c are scarce. One telehealth listing, dated before HHS’s October 2026 policy, shows a monthly program price in the low hundreds of dollars; we found no published clinic price. MOTS-c is not FDA-approved. REMEVi does not currently price MOTS-c or offer it, and has no MOTS-c product.

MOTS-c is not FDA-approved. Since HHS’s October 2026 interim policy, a state-licensed 503A pharmacy may compound it on a patient-specific prescription under listed conditions.

REMEVi does not currently offer MOTS-c.

What the CoA and registered-source rules add

Under the HHS policy, the pharmacy must buy bulk MOTS-c from an FDA-registered facility with a valid certificate of analysis, from a CGMP-compliant manufacturer, compound one active ingredient per product, and package it with no device other than a 510(k)-cleared syringe. Each step costs money, and so does the prescriber’s evaluation and follow-up.

Why “research grade” MOTS-c is cheaper, and what it lacks

Research-grade vials skip the prescription, the 503A pharmacy and the sourcing documentation, so they cost less. They are outside the HHS policy, are not made for a named patient, and carry no requirement for a CoA or a registered source. FDA warned five online peptide vendors on August 24, 2026 that “research use only” labels did not outweigh evidence of human use.
