Semax cost: prescription vs research grade

Published third-party prices by category, dated and sourced. REMEVi does not currently price Semax.

Published prices for Semax vary by channel: telehealth listings run from a one-time spray to a monthly fee, a clinic program bundles the visit and follow-up per 8-week cycle, and research-grade vials list for less. Most figures predate HHS’s October 2026 policy. Semax is not FDA-approved, and REMEVi does not currently price Semax.

Semax is not FDA-approved. Since HHS’s October 2026 interim policy, a state-licensed 503A pharmacy may compound it on a patient-specific prescription under listed conditions.

REMEVi does not currently offer Semax.

These figures were published before HHS’s October 30, 2026 policy, and listings may change as pharmacies apply it. Some programs priced injectable Semax, which the policy does not cover. A price quoted to you should state what it includes: the evaluation, the prescription, the product and follow-up.

What the CoA and registered-source requirements add

Under the policy, a covered Semax product starts from Semax free base made at an FDA-registered, CGMP-compliant facility and shipped with a valid certificate of analysis, the document that states the identity and purity testing for that lot. A state-licensed 503A pharmacy then prepares a nasal product for one named patient, labels it and reports serious adverse events to MedWatch. Each of those steps carries cost.

Why “research grade” is cheaper and what it lacks

  • No prescription, no licensed provider and no pharmacy dispensing.
  • No requirement for a registered bulk source or a certificate of analysis for the lot you receive.
  • Not prepared or labelled for human use, and outside the HHS policy; the form sold may not be Semax free base.
  • No MedWatch reporting obligation if something goes wrong.

On August 24, 2026, FDA sent warning letters to five online peptide vendors whose “research use” labels did not outweigh evidence the products were sold for people.

Does REMEVi sell Semax?

No. REMEVi does not currently offer Semax and does not currently price Semax. REMEVi’s prescriptions today are NAD+, sermorelin and GLP-1 treatment.
