GLP-1 Weight Loss

Compounded semaglutide is the same active ingredient used in Ozempic and Wegovy, prepared by a US compounding pharmacy that is registered with the FDA and licensed by its state board of pharmacy. It is prescribed by a licensed physician for individual patients whose health profile meets the indication. Compounding became widely used for semaglutide during the FDA-declared drug shortage of the brand-name versions, when federal regulations permit 503A and 503B pharmacies to prepare the medication to meet patient demand. Compounded formulations contain the same peptide and are typically sold at a fraction of the list price of the branded products. At REMEVi, compounded semaglutide starts at $249 per month all-inclusive (with bundle pricing down to $179 per month on a 52-week plan), meaning the price covers the physician evaluation, the medication itself, monthly shipping, and ongoing bilingual care coordination with no additional fees.

Semaglutide and tirzepatide are both once-weekly injectable medications used for weight loss and type 2 diabetes, but they work through different receptor pathways. Semaglutide is a single agonist that activates only the GLP-1 receptor — it is the active ingredient in Ozempic, Wegovy, and Rybelsus. Tirzepatide is a dual agonist that activates both the GLP-1 and GIP receptors, which is why it is marketed as Mounjaro and Zepbound. In head-to-head clinical trials, patients on tirzepatide lost an average of 22.5 percent of their body weight over 68 weeks, compared to 14.9 percent on semaglutide. Tirzepatide also tends to produce faster appetite suppression and better glycemic control for most patients. REMEVi offers both options: compounded semaglutide starts at $249 per month and compounded tirzepatide starts at $339 per month (bundle pricing brings semaglutide as low as $179 per month on a 52-week plan), and your physician helps you decide which fits your goals and medical history.

Most REMEVi patients notice reduced appetite and earlier satiety within the first two to four weeks of starting a GLP-1 medication. Visible weight loss typically begins between weeks four and eight as your dose is gradually titrated upward under physician supervision. By month three, most patients are losing weight consistently, and by the six-month mark the average results in clinical trials are 10 to 15 percent of body weight on semaglutide and 15 to 22 percent on tirzepatide. Individual results vary based on starting weight, dietary habits, activity level, sleep, and how your body responds to the medication. The fastest, most durable results come from pairing the medication with protein-forward meals, daily movement, and sufficient sleep. Your REMEVi physician reviews your progress every month and can adjust your dose, and your bilingual care coordinator is available to help troubleshoot side effects or plateaus throughout the program.

Bilingual Support

Yes — REMEVi is the first and only US telehealth platform built fully bilingual from day one, not translated as an afterthought. Every touchpoint in the patient journey is available in Spanish: the intake questionnaire, the medical history forms, the physician evaluation summary, the dosing and injection instructions, the patient portal, billing notifications, and the text and email communications from your care coordinator. Your care team includes native Spanish speakers, so you can ask questions and describe side effects in the language you are most comfortable using. This matters because medical miscommunication is one of the largest drivers of poor outcomes for Hispanic patients in the US healthcare system, and we built REMEVi specifically to close that gap. If you are more comfortable in English, the experience is identical in English. You can also toggle between the two languages at any point in the portal without losing your history.

Absolutely — REMEVi was built specifically for Spanish-speaking adults living in the United States, and your family member can complete the entire program without needing a translator or English-speaking intermediary. They will fill out the intake questionnaire in Spanish, receive their physician evaluation in Spanish, get dosing instructions and medication packaging information in Spanish, and communicate with a native Spanish-speaking care coordinator by phone, text, or through the patient portal. If they ever want to bring a family member into the conversation, they can, but it is not required. Pricing, eligibility, and medical oversight are identical regardless of language — this is the same licensed US physician network and the same FDA-registered compounding pharmacies. Many of our patients first learn about REMEVi through a bilingual family member who signs up and then refers a parent, sibling, or spouse who prefers Spanish. Getting started takes about five minutes.

Pricing & Billing

REMEVi uses a single transparent, all-inclusive monthly price — there are no lab fees, no consultation charges, no shipping fees, and no surprise billing. Every plan includes the licensed US physician evaluation of your intake, your compounded GLP-1 medication itself, the injection supplies you need, discreet monthly shipping directly to your door, unlimited access to a bilingual care coordinator by phone and text, ongoing dose management and monthly physician check-ins, and full access to the REMEVi patient portal for messaging and refills. Semaglutide starts at $249 per month and tirzepatide starts at $339 per month (with bundle pricing as low as $179/month for semaglutide on a 52-week plan), with savings available when you prepay a bundle. You will never be charged for anything that was not explicitly on your pricing page at sign-up. If you ever see a charge you do not recognize, your care coordinator can resolve it immediately. Cancel anytime — no minimum commitment and no cancellation fees.

REMEVi operates on a direct-pay model and does not bill commercial or government insurance. We chose this model intentionally because most insurance plans either do not cover compounded GLP-1 medications at all or require costly prior authorizations, step-therapy protocols, and repeat denials that slow patients down. Direct-pay means no waiting on insurance approval and no surprise denials after you have already started the medication. HSA and FSA cards are accepted and work the same as any other card at checkout — GLP-1 prescriptions for medically indicated weight management are generally eligible HSA and FSA expenses. Many REMEVi patients find that our all-inclusive pricing is competitive with, or lower than, their insurance co-pays for brand-name Ozempic, Wegovy, or Zepbound once the full cost of doctor visits, labs, and medication tiers are added up. If you want a receipt formatted for HSA reimbursement, your care coordinator can provide one.

Yes — REMEVi has no minimum commitment, no cancellation fees, and no contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the patient portal in two clicks, or by sending a message to your bilingual care coordinator who will process the cancellation the same day. If you cancel before your next billing date, you will not be charged for the upcoming cycle and no further shipments will be sent. Any medication you have already received is yours to keep and finish under your physician's guidance. If you are canceling because of side effects, plateaus, cost, or a life change, your care coordinator can often help you troubleshoot before you commit — sometimes a dose adjustment, a switch from semaglutide to tirzepatide, or a short pause solves the issue. There is no pressure to stay. REMEVi's goal is long-term outcomes, not locked-in contracts.

Safety & Medical

REMEVi partners with a network of licensed, board-certified US physicians who are actively licensed in the states where they practice medicine. Every physician in the network is credentialed by REMEVi's medical team and has experience in telehealth, obesity medicine, and GLP-1 prescribing. When you submit your intake, your case is routed to a physician licensed in your state, who personally reviews your medical history, current medications, goals, and any red flags before making a prescribing decision. Physicians follow evidence-based protocols for semaglutide and tirzepatide dosing and titration, and they can decline to prescribe if a patient does not meet the clinical criteria or has a contraindication. Every month your case is reviewed again so that dose adjustments, side effects, and progress can be managed under ongoing medical supervision. This is not a one-and-done prescription mill — it is continuous telehealth care with real board-certified doctors.

Compounded medications from FDA-registered pharmacies are prepared under strict federal and state quality standards and are a regulated, legal category of prescription medication — not generic substitutes and not knockoffs. REMEVi works exclusively with 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies that are registered with the US Food and Drug Administration and licensed by their state boards of pharmacy, and that source their active pharmaceutical ingredients from FDA-registered suppliers. Every batch is tested for potency, purity, and sterility before it leaves the pharmacy. Compounding is the same legal pathway that has been used for decades to prepare custom dosages, allergen-free formulations, and medications during FDA-declared shortages. All REMEVi prescriptions are written by a licensed physician who personally evaluates your health history, screens for contraindications such as thyroid cancer risk or pancreatitis, and monitors your response month over month. If you have concerns about a specific ingredient or supplier, your care coordinator can provide that information on request.

LegitScript is an independent third-party certification organization that verifies online healthcare and pharmacy businesses meet rigorous standards for safety, transparency, legal compliance, and advertising honesty. LegitScript monitors certified merchants on an ongoing basis and will revoke certification if a company violates its code of conduct. REMEVi is LegitScript-certified, which is the reason Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and other major advertising platforms permit us to advertise prescription telehealth services on their networks at all — they require LegitScript certification as a prerequisite for healthcare advertisers. For you as a patient, LegitScript certification means REMEVi has been independently audited on identity verification of physicians, prescription legitimacy, quality of medications, privacy protections, and truthful marketing. It is one of the strongest trust signals in the online healthcare industry and is not something a company can simply claim without verification. You can look up REMEVi's certification on the LegitScript public directory anytime.

Getting Started

Getting started with REMEVi takes about five minutes from your phone or computer. Open the intake form in English or Spanish, answer a short series of questions about your health history, current medications, allergies, pregnancy status, family history of thyroid cancer, and weight loss goals. You will also enter basic demographic information and the state you live in so your case is routed to a physician licensed there. A board-certified US physician reviews your intake within 24 hours, either approves a prescription, asks follow-up questions, or explains why GLP-1 medication is not a fit for your health profile. If approved, your compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide is dispensed by an FDA-registered pharmacy and shipped within one to two business days in discreet packaging. From the moment you complete the intake to the moment your medication arrives at your door, the process is usually five to seven business days.

REMEVi currently serves most US states, with licensed physicians available in the majority of jurisdictions where telehealth prescribing of compounded GLP-1 medications is legally permitted. During the intake process you will enter your state of residence, and the system will confirm whether a physician in your state is available to accept new patients that week. If REMEVi is not yet live in your state, we will add you to the notification list and email you the moment we launch there so you can complete your intake and start your program. State availability expands regularly as we onboard new physicians and complete the credentialing process required in each jurisdiction. Bilingual care and pricing are identical in every state — there is no price difference based on where you live, and the same compounding pharmacies serve all patients. If you have urgent questions about your state, your care coordinator can confirm availability directly.

No — you do not need a prior prescription, a referral, or an in-person doctor's visit to start a GLP-1 program with REMEVi. Our licensed US telehealth physicians handle the full evaluation online based on the intake questionnaire you fill out, your self-reported weight and BMI, your medical history, and your current medications. If the physician has follow-up questions, they will message you through the secure patient portal — most cases are resolved with a single exchange. If you have existing lab work from a recent annual physical, you can optionally upload it, but labs are not required to start in most states. Once your prescription is approved, it is sent electronically to an FDA-registered compounding pharmacy, which fills and ships your order directly to your home. The entire evaluation happens remotely and is HIPAA-compliant. If you later want in-person care, your REMEVi records can be shared with any local physician on request.

Most REMEVi patients receive their first shipment within five to seven business days of completing their intake, though some orders arrive faster depending on the pharmacy queue and shipping carrier times in your area. Here is the typical timeline: intake completion takes about five minutes, physician review happens within 24 hours of submission, prescription approval is transmitted to the pharmacy immediately after, pharmacy compounding and packaging typically takes one to two business days, and shipping by trackable carrier usually takes two to three business days. You will receive email and text notifications at every step, including a tracking number as soon as your package leaves the pharmacy. If your intake needs additional information from the physician, that can add a day or two to the timeline. Your bilingual care coordinator can always give you a status update, and if you need expedited shipping for travel or urgent timing, ask and we will do our best to accommodate.

Shipping & Medication

REMEVi medications are shipped in plain, discreet packaging with no external branding, clinical terminology, or indication of what is inside. The return address lists only the pharmacy name, not a medical description. Temperature-sensitive compounded GLP-1 medications are packed with insulated containers and cold packs when necessary to maintain stability during transit, and every package includes instructions for storage upon arrival — most compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide formulations should be refrigerated, not frozen. You will receive a tracking number by email and text as soon as your order ships, and you can follow the package through the carrier's tracking portal. Packages require adult signature on delivery for safety in some states. If you will not be home when the package is expected, you can coordinate with the carrier to hold at a pickup location or choose a different delivery day. Your care coordinator can help arrange shipping to a different address if you are traveling.

GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide are administered once weekly by subcutaneous injection, and the general rule for a missed dose depends on how close you are to your next scheduled dose. If you miss your dose and your next scheduled dose is more than 48 hours away, take the missed dose as soon as you remember and then continue on your original weekly schedule. If your next scheduled dose is less than 48 hours away, skip the missed dose entirely and resume with your next regular injection. Never double up or inject two doses close together, because doing so can significantly increase the risk of nausea, vomiting, and other gastrointestinal side effects. If you are unsure about timing, your bilingual care coordinator can walk you through it in English or Spanish, and your physician can review your dosing schedule if you have missed multiple weeks. Consistent weekly dosing produces the best results.

Yes — you can safely travel with your REMEVi GLP-1 medication by car, by plane, and across state lines. For air travel, medications with a prescription label are permitted in carry-on luggage under TSA rules, and TSA explicitly allows liquid medications above the 3.4-ounce limit as long as you declare them at security. We recommend keeping the medication in carry-on rather than checked baggage because cargo holds can reach temperatures that damage the formulation. For ground travel, keep the medication refrigerated or cooled with an insulated bag whenever possible; short periods at room temperature during transit are generally acceptable, but prolonged heat should be avoided. If you need a written letter confirming your prescription for airline or border purposes, your care coordinator can provide one within a business day. Notify your care team if you will be abroad for an extended period so we can plan refills around your travel schedule.

Contact your REMEVi care coordinator immediately if your medication arrives damaged, arrives compromised due to temperature, or does not arrive at all — we take full responsibility for any issue that occurs during shipping, and replacements are free to you. Send a message through the patient portal with photos of the package and any visible damage, or call the care line and a bilingual coordinator will document the issue and open a replacement order with the pharmacy the same business day. Most replacement shipments arrive within three to five business days, and we can expedite if you are running close to your next scheduled dose. If your package is reported as delivered but is missing, we will file a carrier claim on your behalf and send a replacement without waiting for that claim to resolve. You never pay twice for a medication that did not reach you, and you never have to fight with the shipping carrier directly.
