How much does Wegovy cost without insurance?

As of October 8, 2026, Novo Nordisk sells Wegovy without insurance for $349 a month for pens from 0.25 to 2.4 mg, $399 for the 7.2 mg HD pen and $149–$299 for the pill. New patients pay $199 for their first two fills of the two starting pen doses. The list price is $1,349.02.

How much is Wegovy without insurance?

Quick answer: Novo Nordisk’s self-pay price is $349 a month for Wegovy pens and $149–$299 for the pill, as of October 8, 2026.

Novo Nordisk sells Wegovy to people paying cash through NovoCare Pharmacy and the Wegovy self-pay offer. One month of pens is a box of four (28 days); one month of the pill is a bottle of 30 tablets. The pen price is the same from 0.25 mg to 2.4 mg, so it does not rise as the dose goes up — until the separate 7.2 mg HD pen.

The offer is for self-pay outside insurance and cannot be used for claims under government programs. Novo may change or cancel it. Source: Wegovy “What to pay” page (Novo Nordisk), checked October 8, 2026.

Is the $199 Wegovy price only for new patients?

Quick answer: Yes. It covers the first two fills of 0.25 or 0.5 mg for people new to the offer, redeemed by December 31, 2026; after that, the pen price applies.

“New” means you have not redeemed a Wegovy injection savings offer in the past 365 days. The price applies to two monthly fills at the two starting doses; the third fill moves to the standard self-pay price of $349. Budget for that standard price, because most people spend far longer on it than on the first two boxes.

Is the Wegovy pill cheaper than the pen?

Quick answer: At every pill dose, yes: $149–$299 per 30 tablets, versus $349 for a month of pens. Pill and pen doses are not interchangeable.

The Wegovy pill has its own dose ladder — 1.5, 4, 9 and 25 mg — priced at $149, $199, $299 and $299. It has no separate introductory price. Whether the pill or the pen suits you is a clinical question for your prescriber, and moving between them is not a one-to-one dose swap.

Is Wegovy cheaper at Costco or with GoodRx?

Quick answer: Not on October 8, 2026: Costco’s member prices matched Novo’s at every dose, and GoodRx showed “as low as” $149 — the pill price — with no location.

Costco’s public price search showed Wegovy pens at $199 for 0.25 and 0.5 mg, $349 for 1 to 2.4 mg and $399 for the HD pen, with pickup and delivery the same. The search result does not repeat the two-fill limit on the starting price, so confirm it at the pharmacy.

GoodRx’s “as low as” figure of $149 is the 1.5 mg pill, against an average retail price of $1,642.80; GoodRx did not show a pharmacy or location. TrumpRx.gov lists the same Novo prices, by number of prior fills.

Does the Wegovy savings offer work without insurance?

Quick answer: The $25 savings offer needs commercial insurance that covers Wegovy. Without insurance, Novo’s route is the self-pay price.

With commercial coverage for Wegovy, Novo’s savings offer lets you pay as little as $25, with savings capped at $100 per 1-month prescription (higher for 2- and 3-month fills). People with Medicare, Medicaid or other government coverage cannot use it. More in Mounjaro, Zepbound and Wegovy savings cards explained.

Can I get Wegovy for less with Medicare?

Quick answer: Possibly. CMS’s Medicare GLP-1 Bridge gives eligible Part D members a $50 copay for certain GLP-1 drugs from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027.

The Bridge is a short-term CMS demonstration that runs outside the normal Part D benefit: the deductible does not apply and the copay does not count toward your yearly out-of-pocket total. CMS’s page does not list the drugs, so ask your Part D plan whether Wegovy is included and whether you qualify. Source: CMS: Medicare GLP-1 Bridge.

Will Wegovy’s price drop in 2027?

Quick answer: Novo says its list price drops to $675 a month on January 1, 2027, but self-pay prices don’t change. Costs tied to list price may.

On February 24, 2026, Novo Nordisk announced a list price of $675 per month for Wegovy, Ozempic and Rybelsus from January 1, 2027, for patients whose out-of-pocket costs are linked to list price — for example, during an insurance deductible. Novo said the change does not affect direct-to-patient self-pay prices. Source: Novo Nordisk news release, February 24, 2026.

Quick answer: Yes. REMEVi offers compounded semaglutide, prescribed by licensed providers: From $159 per 4 weeks on the 24-week plan · or $199 every 4 weeks, cancel any time.

The FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold. Brand names appear on this page only to orient you; REMEVi does not sell brand-name drugs.
